The biennial Castle Hill Village Easter Art weekend has always been a non-profit community-based fun family event supporting local artists.
It has evolved from its early conception by a group of artists from within the village through the generous efforts of a single individual with tireless co-ordination, dedication, time & effort for a number of years.
The current group of volunteers organising this year’s event are following in the footsteps of its founders with the same spirit of celebration of the creativity of Castle Hill.
It is run to support local artists and community, as well as to provide support in monetary and practical ways to pest trapping and control, Kea Conservation, the Craigieburn Trails and wilding pine control. All this supports the environment within which Castle Hill Village is situated and celebrates the many artists that gain inspiration from the area.
